MediaStore Events pages are highly customizable based on the Client UI layout.
As a result, some features in the Create Event modal
may not apply to all users (see below). 

 

  1. In the navigation sidebar, click + Create New
  2. Select Event
  3. Review General Information:

     Required:

  • enter a title for the event in the Name field1
    • An Identifier is auto-generated from the event name but can be edited at this stage
  • select Access Level2

     Optional:*

  • set a start and end date, and choose whether to display countdown in the Client UI
  • enter a Location
  • upload a Preview image3
  • add a Description and format with the description toolbar4

     → Click Next

  1. Review Layout: Upcoming*

     Optional:

  • upload a featured image (displayed as the event thumbnail in the Client UI)
  • upload a background image (displayed as a blurred background on the event page in the client UI)

     → Click Next

  1. Review Attendees*

     → Click Next

  1. Select Products to screen as part of the online event*
  2. Review Summary and click Create to finish

 

To display the event on the website, the event must be added to the Homepage Event Showcase: see Manage Collections, Events and News Showcases.

 

 

 


1 Displays on the homepage of the website, and as the title on the event page (unless replaced with a Featured Image)

2 Public access is required to display on the Client UI homepage

3 Displays as the event background banner (dimmed) on the client UI homepage

4 Displays on the event page
